After the successful execution of a search, you will see the results in the view selected in the Search Settings. You will also be able to apply other filters to your search results, tag/untag and folder documents. In certain views, you can also export the results or download the native files.
The Print, Dynamic Folder and Saved Search icons are added for all the documents in the search results.
The dynamic folder button opens the Dynamic Folder Settings with a list of dynamic folders. Similarly, the saved search button opens the Saved Search Settings with a list of saved searches. The print button opens the Print Wizard.
For all the documents in the search results, the following options are available using the buttons.
Summary View – You will see multiple search results with a summary showing certain fields.
List View – You will see search results in a list. The fields will be in columns and the Document Viewer is shown in the bottom panel.
Detail View – You will see one document at a time. The Document Viewer is shown in the bottom panel.
Email Thread View – You will see emails only in a list view. The fields will be in columns and the Document Viewer is shown in the bottom panel.
You can use the Search Filter on the left to filter the search results displayed. Some of these settings were established in the Search User Settings. You can change the options to better define your search. If you want to change/apply a new filter, be sure to click the apply button at the bottom. You also have the option of viewing parent/child or the parent only results and all/email/edocs documents.
